Position Title: Investment Strategist
The family has been an active investor and has developed the investment platform, the infrastructure, and processes of an institutional quality investment platform. The family believes a balanced liquid and illiquid portfolio supplemented with a strong cash position will generate strong returns for generations and allow for advantageous investing in periods of volatility.
The Investment Strategist (IS) will be responsible for working with the firm’s Chief Investment Officer (CIO), and the investment team to assist in the oversight of the firm’s investment portfolios. The IS will assist in providing fiduciary oversight across investments, investment managers and alternative investments supporting sound internal investment-related decision-making.
The IS will provide oversight of the investment management program and assist in its evolution including:
Key Areas of Responsibility
Evaluation and monitoring of investment solutions offered, fees, and/or other services offered.
Perform thorough due diligence on current and prospective investment managers, both public and
private markets, through a structured quantitative and qualitative process analyzing historical
performance, risk management, team structure, and investment process.
Perform portfolio risk assessments to increase diversification and reduce risk per advisor/entity
and on an aggregated basis.
Construct investment policy statements and generate customized solutions to meet client’s
objectives and risk tolerances.
Evaluate portfolios, on a continual basis, to uncover opportunities or gaps in the investment
program and work with the investment advisors to optimize the portfolios.
Conduct portfolio analysis, modeling, and evaluation of the investment activities of the firm.
Assist in enhancing the firm’s investment management systems, processes, tools, and control
systems to ensure appropriate advisor oversight.

- Oversight and due diligence of investments, investment strategies, and investment managers.
- Developing and implementing controls associated with new advisors, new strategies, and new custodians for the client portfolios.
- The oversight of the firm’s investment management program (end-to-end) to ensure all advisors’ investment activities are reflected in the firm’s Wealth Management Platform.

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred in Business or Finance.
- CFA® or CFP® designation is strongly preferred.
- Portfolio management experience with a strong background in public and private markets.
- Experience in investment due diligence, portfolio analysis and benchmarking.
- Expertise in portfolio risk analysis, stress testing and applying appropriate hedging
- strategies.
- Capacity to think creatively, explore themes and identify investments which are value-add to the
- portfolio.
- Strategic and tactical thinker who anticipates issues and recommends solutions on a proactive
- basis.
- Attention to detail, relentless intellectual curiosity, and a drive to excel at the highest
- level is a priority.
